Live PDC Darts: Premier League Darts Week 15 Preview & Betting Tips

Thursday 11th May. 7PM. Sky Sports 1

The final week of phase two action sees the Premier League roadshow hit Aberdeen, and we should be in for four thrilling matches at the GE Oil & Gas Arena oche.

All eight players will want to put in a good performance. For three, it would be a great way to build momentum ahead of next week’s play-off night. For another three, it’s all about ending the campaign with a flourish. And for the final two, it could dictate whether they’ll be heading to London or not.

It’s set to be another exciting night from the PDC’s top stars. Bring it on!

Taylor Or Chizzy Heading To London

While three places in next week’s big event are already confirmed, the final spot is still officially up for grabs. Having said that, it will almost certainly be going to Phil The Power Taylor as it would take a 10 leg swing for Dave Chisnall to turn it around.

Chizzy faces James Wade in the night’s first game, and may well fancy his chances of a big result. Wade has been poor in the second phase, sitting bottom of the remaining eight, and lost 7-3 to Anderson last week. Chisnall will need to better the 7-5 win back in phase one, but his extra motivation could at least make him a threat.

Even if Chisnall does record a big win, Taylor only needs to avoid a heavy loss against Adrian Lewis. While Jackpot certainly has the ability to beat his old friend, it would be very surprising to see him destroy the six-time Premier League champion. That should mean a final play-off appearance in the 56-year-old’s swansong season.

Then again, we’ve seen stranger things happen at the oche.

Can MVG Confirm Top Spot?

Michael van Gerwen, Peter Wright, and Gary Anderson are all already through but the trio will still be eager to win their respective matches. After all, those places will influence the draw for next week’s showdowns at the O2.

For Wright, a win over Raymond van Barneveld would be enough to secure top place on a temporary basis. Given that Snakebite beat MVG 6-0 to win the European Darts Grand Prix last weekend, his confidence should be sky high as he looks to take on another Dutch opponent.

The night’s final match sees Van Gerwen and Anderson renew their rivalry. While the Flying Scotsman cannot top the table, a positive result would secure third. However, the Dutchman will have the bit between his teeth as he looks to recover from his disappointing weekend. With a guaranteed top spot on offer too, he will be expected to perform.

All in all, it should make for a great night in Scotland. With a little luck, we’ll be winning some money too.

Premier League Darts Week 15 Betting

A decent return of profit from last week’s action sets us up nicely for the penultimate week of Premier League action, and we have two more bets lined up to hopefully land some more profit.

While Chizzy is unlikely to win via a whitewash, we expect him to get the better of Wade. At 21/10, we’re backing him on the match, checkout, and maximums treble.

Dave Chisnall to win, most 180s, and record the highest checkout @ 21/10 with William Hill

Our second bet is a double, and starts with Lewis and Taylor struggling to find the maximums. While both players are capable, we feel that this could be the least exciting game of the night as the Power edges over the line.

Combine that with Wright to see off Barney in style.

Under 6.5 180s (Taylor v Lewis) & Peter Wright to win @ 1.89/1 with BetVictor
