Next Premier League Manager To Be Sacked? Odds and Opinion.

Visit Paddy PowerWe are now just over a quarter of the way through the season, and there are a few Premier League bosses that feel the end is near. A number of supporters have begun to voice their fears over their respective managers ability to turn things around. Here we look at the bosses most likely to be given the boot.

The name on most peoples lips when thinking of the next boss to be sacked is Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean. Things have got so bad that the Blackburn board banned any banners from Ewood Park that mentioned his sacking.

This seemed to work, until a small plane flew over Blackburn’s stadium with a huge “Steve Kean Out” banner attached to it.

Kean has a warrior attitude and will not step down of his own accord, but may soon be forced out of the door. Blackburn sit in 18th place in the league with just 6 points and 1 win from their 11 games. With no change in form evident, the Evens with Paddy Power for him to be next manager to leave his post looks a good bet.

Nearest rival in terms of betting odds is Steve Bruce. The Sunderland fans were expecting an improvement on last seasons 10th place finish. Currently in 14th with only 2 wins to their name this season, Bruce may be fearing his future. Steve Bruce is a 4/1 shot with Paddy Power.

Wigan fans are beginning to get impatient with Roberto Martinez. Although fans are realistic about their chances of a respectable league position, rooted to the bottom is not acceptable to them. With 8 consecutive losses in the league, Martinez doesn’t have much time to turn things around and is 4/1 with Paddy Power to be the next boss to go.
