Mikey’s Friday Night Baseball Tip 27th July: Struggling Pitchers Could Spell Plenty Of Runs In Miami

American SportWell it had to come to an end at some point people but we have had a good few days and now we have a new start and hopefully a new run of winning bets to start again.

Last night we had pretty good pitching from our man, but the newcomer for the Mets was superb; striking out 11, so we have to take it on the chin.

Tonight my bet is coming in the game between the San Diego Padres and the Miami Marlins which starts at 12.10am BST and it sees two pitchers who have been really struggling of late, with Carlos Zambrano going for the Marlins and Kip Wilson for the Padres.

Their win loss records are both terrible as is the ERA of both, which is why in my opinion tonight’s match there should be plenty of base runners and with that there will be plenty of stolen bases and hopefully plenty of runs.

The Marlins have had 102 stolen bases on the year and the Padres have had 88 which both top the major leagues, so any base runner tonight will be a nightmare for these struggling pitchers.

So with that being said my bet for tonight’s game is the over 8.5 runs at odds of 4/5 with Bet365 and with the amount of base runners there will be this seems great value to me and should not be ignored.

I hope this bet will start a brand new run of winners and make up a little bit for last night’s loss.
Good luck to everyone who has a go.
Michael.
