TVbet Football Tips – Champions League Fixtures Tuesday 6th December

Champions League TipsWe’ve reached the final phase of group games in this season’s renewal of the Champions League, with some teams safe in the knowledge they have already qualified, and others desperate to get specific results in order to progress to the knock out stage. Here we look at the best best for tonight’s matches.

APOEL Nicosia v Shakhtar Donetsk

APOEL have done fantastically well and have already qualified for the latter stages, however they are still unsure whether they will qualify as group winners or runners up.

Donetsk are bottom of the group and can’t even qualify for the Europa League with a win here.

The Cypriot side have won all home fixtures in this competition, with wins over Wisla Krakow (3-1) in the qualifying stage, Zenit (2-1) and Porto (2-1)

APOEL look a nice price to take another 3 points and finish top of group G.

Porto v Zenit

This is a massive game for both teams. A draw will suit Zenit, while Porto must win, or find themselves entered into the Europa League.

Zenit beat Porto 3-1 in the reverse fixture in Russia, and will prove a difficult team for Porto to break down.

Porto beat Shakhtar 3-1 away from home to keep their hopes alive in the last round of fixtures, and will need to go all guns blazing if they are to beat the tricky Russian side.

Porto disappointed in their last home CL game, managing just a 1-1 draw with APOEL, and Zenit look likely to give Porto a frustrating 90 minutes.

Genk v Leverkusen

Genk have absolutely nothing to play for. They are rooted to the bottom of Group E and are 6 points adrift of third placed Valencia.

Their lack of pride was clear in the last round of fixtures when they were humiliated 7-0 by Valencia, and Bayer Leverkusen, who need to win to guarantee qualifying in top spot above Chelsea and Valencia, should have no problems brushing them aside.

Leverkusen are around 1/2 for the victory but we much prefer the 5/4 with Skybet for them to keep a clean sheet against Genk, who have no interest in this game.
