Football Accumulator Betting Tips Saturday 22nd August – Hammers To Squash Cherries At The Boleyn

Teams across England’s football pyramid are still settling into the new season. However, we’re starting to get a better idea of how the season might shape up and we’re hoping to cap this feeling off by landing an 11/2 treble at Betfred on Saturday.

We’re backing three home teams to all send their fans home happy. If they do, we’ll certainly be smiling too.

Good luck!

West Ham United V Bournemouth

Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth will still be pinching themselves due to the fact they’re playing Premier League football. While they may count themselves unlucky, the fact remains that they are yet to pick up a point in 2015/16. Unfortunately for the Cherries, we can’t see that changing as they make the trip to Upton Park.

Last year’s Championship winners have also yet to find a Premier League goal. The visitors will fancy look to take advantage of Adrian’s suspension, but they could still be in for an uphill battle against the Hammers.

Slaven Bilic’s men will be determined to bounce back from last weekend’s disappointing defeat to Leicester and will be hoping to channel the positivity of their opening day win at Arsenal to claim their first home win of the new Premier League season.

If summer signing Dimitri Payet can influence proceedings, we could see some very Happy Hammers come 5pm.

QPR V Rotherham United

Championship side QPR started the new season in the worst way following their relegation from the Premier League, but Chris Ramsey’s men are starting to find their feet and will be hoping to underline their title credentials by claiming a second week of the win.

The Hoops welcome Rotherham to Loftus Road, and will already be in good spirits after their midweek triumph at Wolves. Matty Philips and Charlie Austin have been linked with moves away, but they both seem focused and are playing well. The talented pair could well be the difference here.

Meanwhile, the Millers are already struggling and enter this showdown sitting in the dreaded bottom three. There’s a strong feeling that this will be long season for Steve Evans’ men, and this difficult trip could be a particular long afternoon for the visitors.

Rotherham have lost eight of 12 Championship away games in 2015. We fully expect that poor form to continue.

Tranmere Rovers V Boreham Wood

After suffering relegation from the Football League in a disappointing 2014/15 campaign, Tranmere Rovers have responded well during the early weeks of the new season. Gary Brabin’s men will be confident of continue their 100% home record as they welcome Boreham Wood to Prenton Park.

While the hosts have picked up two wins from two at home, the visitors have lost both of their two away games. Ian Allinson’s side actually enter this game on the back of three straight defeats. It’s also worth noting that there was a two division gap between the sides last term. While there have been changes amongst both camps, the gulf in quality should show.

In fairness to Boreham Wood, the attacking trio of Harry Crawford, Jamie Lucas, and Charlie MacDonald are more than capable of scoring goals. Unfortunately, it’s hard to see them keeping out a very confident home side.

It might be closer than some fans will expect, but the home side should prevail.
