Football Accumulator Betting Tips Saturday 12th December – Black Cats To Take Sting Out Of Hornets

The football season has hit an incredibly important stage and the games will be coming thick and fast between now and the New Year. We’re looking to start this period with this very tempting 5/1 treble.

We’re backing three clubs to seal important wins, and have good reason to believe that they will each provide the goods to send their fans home happy. If they do, the £50 profit will certainly put a smile on our faces too.

Good luck!

Sunderland V Watford

Last weekend, it looked for a long time that Sunderland would seal a point against high-flying Arsenal. Despite eventually falling to a 3-1 defeat, Sam Allardyce will be pleased with his start to life at the Stadium of Light and will be confident of sealing a third win in four as his side take on newly promoted Watford.

The Black Cats are starting to look a lot more organised at the back while the attacking talents of Jermain Defoe and Steven Fletcher should give them a chance of continuing their improved form, especially against a side that has leaked 10 on the road.

Quique Flores’ men are performing brilliantly, but they can’t stay in the top half forever. The real worry is that if Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo have a bad day at the office, it’s hard to see where their inspiration will come from.

Sunderland’s run of fixtures is particularly difficult, so a win against Watford is vital as they aim to climb out of the bottom three. We think that they will step up to the mark in style.

Hull City V Bolton Wanderers

Neil Lennon’s Trotters have endured a torrid time so far this season, and are currently rooted to the foot of the Championship with just 12 points from 19 games. Unfortunately, their situation doesn’t look like getting any better as they face a difficult weekend trip to Hull.

The visitors have clearly been effected by problems behind the scenes. Nevertheless, the lack of goals from Emile Heskey, Shola Ameobi and co is their main downfall. This isn’t helped by a return of 18 goals conceded in nine away games. Quite frankly, nobody can be surprised that they’re still searching their first league win on the road.

Steve Bruce’s Tigers have faltered slightly in recent weeks, but this is the perfect chance for the Tigers to roar back to winning ways. The hosts have lost just once at the KC this term, and their attacking players will be licking their lips in anticipation.

A home win would see Hull pile the pressure on the top two. Back the Tigers to pounce.

Portsmouth V Hartlepool United

In League Two, Paul cook’s Pompey are in strong form right now and enter Saturday’s match with Hartlepool knowing that a win could put them within touching distance of the automatic promotion spots. In truth, they shouldn’t encounter many problems at Fratton Park in this one.

Portsmouth have had a tendency to draw home matches, with six of their 10 previous encounters ending that way. However, confidence will be high after last weekend’s cup win over Accrington Stanley, and they should have too much for a Hartlepool side that has lost four of its last five league outings.

The hosts do tend to score regularly too, and the attacking qualities of Matt Tubbs and co can put the visitors to the sword. After all, Ronnie Moore’s men have leaked 14 in nine matches on the road. If they show those deficiencies once more, it could be very easy pickings for Pompey.

Even if Hartlepool do put up a fight, we think the hosts will prevail.
