Both Teams To Score Tips Saturday 11th April – Back Our 11/2 Football League Treble

With just a handful of fixtures to play, this weekend’s Football League action could carry huge significance in deciphering the fates of several clubs.

We’re hoping to take advantage of that sense of excitement and urgency by backing these six teams to all find the target in this 11/2 treble at Betfred

Good luck!

Millwall V Watford

Whilst the determination for three points is equally strong in both camps, the reasons could scarcely be further apart.

The Hornets are in genuine contention for the Championship title and automatic promotion to the Premier League, which is exactly what they’ll be aiming for after losing out in the play-offs two years ago. Confidence will be high for Slavia Jokanovic’s men as they’ve scored at least twice in each of their past six matches on the road and the likes of Troy Deeney and Matej Vydra will be amongst those looking to tame the Lions.

Millwall’s unenviable situation doesn’t look good but the Lions are playing better under new boss, and club legend, Neil Harris. A return of five points from the last available nine has kept their slim chances of survival alive, but they’ll need to follow up last weekend’s win over Charlton with a similarly impressive performance if they are to keep within touching distance of safety.

Attack will be the best form of defence for Millwall, who are unlikely to keep the Hornets at bay for 90 minutes. If the Lions do score then this should be a winning selection.

Scunthorpe United V Crawley Town

Dean Saunders’ Crawley have done remarkably well to climb out of the League One drop zone and could give their survival bid another huge boost by picking up three points at Glanford Park. However, the Red Devils should expect a difficult test against a Scunthorpe side who are equally desperate for points.

Both teams enter this weekend’s clash sitting just one point above the dreaded bottom four so three points would be huge for the winner. Whilst Mark Robins men haven’t enjoyed the best form in recent weeks, their scoring record at home has been strong. Five of the Iron’s last six home games have seen the hosts find the target and they’ll certainly fancy their chances against an away side that has leaked 35 in 20 away games.

However, there is no doubt that Crawley are improving under their new boss. Izale McLeod, who boasts 18 goals, could be particularly important for the visitors and will be eager to follow up last weekend’s opener against Oldham by finding the target again here.

The two sides shared an entertaining 2-2 draw in November’s reverse fixture; a similar outcome on Saturday would suit us just fine.

Newport County V Bury

League Two play-off rivals Newport and Bury both suffered potentially damaging defeats last weekend and will be determined to bounce back in style at Rodney Parade in this crucial battle. We’re hoping this will lead to a game of goals.

The visitors have won five straight away matches, shutting out their opponents in each of the last four. However, the Shakers are fully aware that Newport are one of the division’s stronger outfits and a hosts side that is unbeaten in three home games will be equally confident heading into Saturday’s showdown.

In fact, Jimmy Dack’s men have scored 28 times in just 20 home games this term and will also take huge inspiration from November’s 3-1 triumph at Gigg Lane. However, Bury have netted 23 of their own on the road and it would be foolish to dismiss their recent away form.

This is a difficult game to predict the outcome of, but it seems likely that both teams will create chances. We’re backing both teams to score.
