Super Bowl 50: Denver Broncos V Carolina Panthers Live – Who Will Win Historic NFL Final?

Super Bowl 50: Denver Broncos V Carolina Panthers

Sunday 7th February. 11:30PM. Sky Sports 1

The Levi’s Stadium is set for the big one as the Denver Broncos and Caroline Panthers prepare to do battle in front of a sell-out crowd, and a TV audience of over 100million in the US alone, for NFL’s biggest prize.

And if the stakes weren’t already high enough, this is the landmark 50th edition of America’s biggest sporting event. Even if you aren’t normally a fan, it’s a must watch event for any sports fan.

Prepare yourselves for a classic!

Can Panthers Complete Magic Season In Style?

Whatever happens on Sunday, this season has been a remarkable achievement for Ron Riviera’s NFC champions. The Panthers became only the seventh team to register 15 wins in a regular season, en route to sealing only their second ever Super Bowl appearance.

Having lost their only previous appearance, Super Bowl 50 would be the perfect way to finally get their hands on the biggest prize. After dominant displays in the two play-off rounds, including a 49-15 win over the Cardinals to seal the NFC championship, they’ll be many people’s favourites.

After all, the Panthers probably boast the best defensive unit in the sport. Meanwhile, quarterback Cam Newton could cement his place as NFL’s next superstar by passing his team to the title. The 26-year-old has proved his worth all season, and an MVP performance here could seal Carolina’s place in history.

Expect a big performance from the NFC champions.

Peyton’s Perfect Finale?

The main storyline of this year’s Super Bowl will surround one man. Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning will forever be regarded as a legend of the sport and adding a second ring on Sunday could possibly signal the perfect end to an illustrious career.

Manning has been the driving force behind Denver’s run to a second Super Bowl appearance in three years. Like Carolina, the Broncos suffered defeat at the divisional play-off last season, but have bounced back even stronger to record a record 12-4 in the AFC before beating the Steelers and Patriots en route to Sunday’s showdown.

Denver surrendered the fewest passing yards in the regular season, which will make this a truly fascinating battle against Newton and the Panthers. And if they can play to Manning’s strength when on offense too, they’ll have a fantastic chance of upsetting the odds.

The whole world is waiting, let’s just hope it lives up to the billing.

Super Bowl 50 Betting

Given their incredible season thus far, it should come as no surprise that the Panthers have been established as the pre-game favourites. The NFC champions are available at 10/23 with Bet365 while Denver can be backed at 19/10.

As expected, many bookmakers are offering concessions on this game. One of the most exciting ones come via Betfred’s Double Delight / Hat-Trick Heaven promotion. If the first touchdown scorer bags a second, then odds are doubled. If he gets a third, they will be trebled.

The Panthers’ quarterback might be the obvious shout, but we can’t ignore him at 13/2. You can get slightly better odds elsewhere, but the potential price boost makes it a must.

Most importantly, though, we hope it’s an exciting game. After all, it’ll be watched by a bigger crowd than ever. Given the fact that each of the last three finals have been high-scoring affairs, we can at least hope for another one here.

Both teams are capable of big scores when they get going. With so much incentive to perform, lets hope at least one of them will enjoy an attacking blitz.
