Sunday Singles Bar 17th March – Blues Great Odds To Net In Both Halves

Saturday gave us 1 out of 2 winners which is okay, as both were priced at evens or above which in turn secures a small profit. With so many games on Sunday I’ve decided to open up the bar again as I’ve found a couple of stunners that are sure to get my juices flowing.. We are talking betting juices here!

My Sunday bets go a little something like this:

Selection: Chelsea to score in both halves Evens Stan James

West Ham have had over two weeks rest since their last game, a 1-0 win at Stoke that broke a worrying trend of 7 consecutive away defeats until then. I can’t help feeling though that the Hammers would’ve preferred a game a bit sooner to keep the momentum going, and it’s unlikely they would’ve chosen a trip to Stamford Bridge as their ideal follow up game.

We all know that Chelsea have massively underachieved this season, but I think revenge is in the air after their 3-1 loss at Upton Park in December and the bet I love the look of is for Chelsea to score in both halves.

Chelsea are the joint top first half scorers on home turf, level with Manchester United on 17 goals scored in 14 games, and that’s the big appeal to this bet- If Chelsea go in at half time leading, then West Ham will have to come out flying in the 2nd half, which could be a recipe for Chelsea goals.

Selection: Fulham +1.5 Asian Handicap 27/40 Bet365

It took a momentous effort by Tottenham to surpass Inter Milan on Thursday night, and you have to wonder if the effects of that game will remain for the visit of Fulham. AVB did take precautions, as he left Gareth Bale out of the match squad, but I really fancy Fulham to grind Spurs down here and make them work for their points.

With that in mind I really can’t see Spurs beating Fulham by any more than a 1 goal margin. To maximise any return for my fancy I’ve decided to back Fulham on the +1.5 Asian Handicap. This basically means that Fulham start with a 1.5 goal lead.

Fulham have lost just 1 of their last 5 games (0-1 Manchester United) and I think the time is right for them to cause big problems at White Hart Lane.
