German Bundesliga Betting Tips Sat 26th October – Leverkusen A Solid Pick

BundesligaMatchday 10 – Twitter @benhomer91

Could not moan with last weeks results, Schalke bagging late on brought us a refund in their game and a Leverkusen win brought us a winning bet there. After some tasty European games this week, we go back to business in the league with some great ties lined up including the famous Revierderby between Schalke and Borussia Dortmund, usually one of the best fixtures of the season!

Saturday 2.30pm KO

Bayer Leverkusen v Augsburg

Yet again I find myself unable to avoid betting on Leverkusen this week, they have been that impressive. In a game that I thought was going to be pretty close pregame, Leverkusen came out midweek and destroyed Shakthar Donetsk 4-0, with the in form Stefan Kiessling bagging 2.

That brings Leverkusen’s home record this season to an impressive 9 wins out of 10 in competitive matches, the other result being a 1-1 home draw with European Champions Bayern Munich, a result that anyone in Europe would have been happy with. Leverkusen look to be full strength going into this game and the added motivation of potentially being top of the pile after this game is also a bonus.

Augsburg on the other hand have dropped off a lot over the past few weeks. After they’re best start to a season for years, Augsburg have gone on to lose 3 of their last 4 games. They certainly learnt their lesson in the last game at home to Wolfsburg where they should of taken a 2 goal advantage, yet they could not take their chances and Wolfsburg came back to win the game.

Augsburg will yet again be struggling come the end of the season and I will not be surprised to see them either go straight down or be stuck in the relegation play off.

There are 2 potential bets for this game, both I am very confident on and it is up to you what you choose at your own risk:

Leverkusen win and over 2.5 goals – EVENS Bet365
Leverkusen -1 handicap – 5/4 Bet365

Another game that appeals to me on the Saturday also kicking off a 2.30pm is Hannover v Hoffenheim. I think Hannover are decent value at 7/5 in some places and their home record is very impressive. I am having a very small stake on Hannover and over 2.5 goals with William Hill at 9/4.

Hannover’s home record and their love for goals, matched with the amount of goals that have featured in Hoffenheim’s games this season is more than enough to make me stake on this.

Good Luck!
