Football Accumulator Betting Tips – Saturday August 2nd

Football Accumulator Betting Tips – 2nd August
We’re now just a week away from the return of English league football but in the meantime we’re looking for one last European boom with this week’s Saturday accumulator tips.

This week’s selections come from action in Austria and Germany as well as the French Super Cup. At odds of over 4/1, it’s gotta be worth a punt.

Paris Saint-Germain V Guingamp. 1PM

French giants PSG raise the curtain on the new season with Saturday’s Super Cup clash against Coupe de France winners Guingamp.

The match, which takes place in Beijing China for the first time, offers Laurent Blanc’s superstars to claim another piece of silverware and the favourites should have too much for their opponents as they bid to retain the crown.

PSG picked up more than double the points of Guingamp en route to the Ligue 1 title last term and that huge gulf in quality should show in China. The champions took four points from their opponents in last year’s two league meetings and should be confident heading into this clash.

Blanc’s men prepared for this match with a comfortable 6-2 win over Kitchee, in which star man Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a hat-trick. PSG are one of the world’s best club sides right now and they should prove that in China.

It might not be the most important trophy in the world but Blanc’s men will still want to win it. We expect them to do so with ease.

Bochum V Greuther Furth. 2:30PM

Our second selection comes from the Bundesliga II and we’re backing Greuther Furth to start their season with a bang by opening the account with a win against Bochum.

The visitors were so close to gaining promotion in 2013/14, losing the play-off to Bundesliga side Hamburg on away goals, and will be raring to go ahead of the new campaign. Frank Kramer’s men prepared for the new term with five straight pre-season victories and will be confident about overcoming a Bochum side who could be set for another relegation battle over the coming months.

Last season the host finished just one place above the relegation zone and the new campaign looks likely to start in very much the same fashion. Greuther won the corresponding fixture via a 2-0 scoreline in 2013/14 and the visitors will be optimistic about their chances here.

Greuther will be desperate to gain promotion this year and will be out to fire an early warning shot to their rivals here.

TIP: Greuther Furth Win @ 13/10 with William Hill

Austria Vienna V SCR Altrach. 6PM

The Austrian domestic league is already well underway but Austria Vienna are still searching for their win as they prepare to take on newly promoted Altrach.

Conversely, last year’s Erste Liga champions started life in the Bundesliga with a 1-0 home win over Sturm Graz. However, despite hitting the ground running, the visitors should expect a backlash from Gerard Baumgartner’s side at the Generali Arena.

The hosts finished fourth last year and in spite of their poor start we’d expect them to climb up the table in the coming weeks. That ascent should start with Satuday’s showdown against Altrach. They ended 2013/14 in particularly poor form and will be determined to claim their first triumph of the season here.

Altrach might be blessed with the winning mentality following last season’s promotion but they could struggle on the road this term. If Damir Canadi’s side are to stay up then a strong home form will be imperative. Any points secured on their travels will be a bonus but we can’t see them getting anything from their trip to the capital.
