Football Accumulator Betting Tips Saturday 16th May – PSG To Seal Title

This weekend’s football accumulator is a treble from comprised of three selections across Europe’s top divisions and we’re hoping to bash the Betfred to the tune of £46 (for a £10 stake)

we’re backing these three teams to all claim vital wins and are confident that we’ll be celebrating come Saturday night.

Good luck!

Tottenham Hotspur V Hull City. 3PM

A damning defeat against Burnley last weekend has left Steve Bruce’s Hull needing a minor miracle to retain their Premier League status. Sadly, it looks like their ship will be sinking with Saturday’s trip to White Hart Lane.

Whilst Mauricio Pochettino’s men aren’t in the best form, underlined by a dismal showing at Stoke, his team are stil performing relatively well at home and should be too strong for a very tame Tigers. If Harry Kane and co are firing on all cylinders then there will be no hope for the visitors.

Hull had seemingly salvaged the situation with back-to-back wins over Crystal Palace and Liverpool but their momentum was lost with the loss to Arsenal and now the other North London club could hammer the final nail in their coffin by condemning them to the Championship. Considering Spurs claimed a 2-1 win at the KC earlier this term, as well as a 1-0 win in last year’s corresponding fixture at the Lane, it looks ominous for Bruce’s side.

It’s the final home game of Pochettino’s first year in charge at White Hart Lane and he’ll be eager to sign off in style. Expect Spurs to bounce back with an easy win.

Real Sociedad V Granada. 6PM

David Moyse’s Real Sociedad might not be in their best form of his short reign, but the Spaniards should fancy their chances at home to a Granada side that remains in the bottom three despite back-to-back wins over the past couple of weeks.

The struggling visitors have done well to give themselves a hope of survival but they’ve won just two games on the road all season whilst Sociedad boast nine wins and just four defeats at the Estadio Municipal de Anoeta.

Real Sociedad also possess a far more dangerous attacking line, as is evidenced by their return of 40 goals in comparison to Granada’s 26, and the likes of Carlos Vela will be eager to sign off the home campaign in style.

With the strike looking unlikely this game should go ahead. We’re backing the hosts to prevail.

Montpellier V Paris-Saint Germain. 8PM

French champions PSG need just one point from their final two matches to absolutely seal another crown, although goal difference means they are already pretty much there, but we’re expecting Laurent Blanc’s men to complete the job in style as they take on Montpellier at the Stade de la Mosson.

Since dropping out of the Champions League to Barcelona, the Parisians have been exceptional. Four straight wins has catapulted them from a real dog fight to virtually guaranteed champions and the club are now set for a domestic double that would signal another successful campaign in spite of the European disappointment.

Seventh-placed Montpellier aren’t a bad side by any means but it’s hard to see Rolland Courbis’ men resisting the rampant PSG attack, who boast 17 goals in their past four games alone. The hosts have only lost five times at home but the gulf in quality should prevail.

It has been a turbulent campaign at times for PSG but it looks set to end in pretty decent fashion, starting with the confirmation of their title here.
