Boxing Day Goals Galore Tips 26th December – Get On Festive Goal Treat At Molineux

Goals GaloreThere’s nothing like Boxing Day sporting action. If there’s one day a year I rally get excited about then it’s this one. The stresses and strains of Christmas Day are over, and now it’s all about putting your feet up, and for me anyway, Boxing Day is betting day.

TV on, flicking between football and horse racing, I love it. And here are my festive both teams to score picks for Wednesday, so that I can get excited while watching the scores come in:

Wolves v Peterborough 3.00pm

Peterborough are getting back to their old ways, and that is absolutely huge for BTTS. A couple of seasons ago these guys were banned from almost all coupons due to their scoring and conceding exploits, and in the last month or so The Posh haven given us plenty of indication that the goals have returned.

10 scored and 12 conceded in their last 4 games, now is the time to strike with them. A 5-4 win over Bolton at the weekend, and now a trip to Wolves; who have scored and conceded in 72% of their home games at Molineux, and kept just 1 clean sheet in their last 7. Get on Goals Galore!!

Bristol City v Watford 3.00pm

Wow! The stats tell me that this game has an 85% chance of both teams scoring, which would equate to odds of 1.17 (1/6). As it happens the best price available on the BTTS is 8/13 (stanjames), making it a huge value pick.

Bristol City have played 11 games at Ashton Gate. 9 of them has seen them score and concede. Watford have played 11 away games. 10 of them has seen them score and concede.

These two have already played the reverse fixture at Vicarage Road; an encouraging 2-2 draw. If this doesn’t come in I promise I’ll eat the contents of a Christmas cracker! Get on.

Reading v Swansea 3.00pm

I like this one a great deal for both teams to score. Reading do indeed look like relegation fodder now with just 9 points from 18 games, but you can’t knock their industry. The Royals have failed to score in just 1 game at the Madejski so far this season, a 0-0 draw with Norwich in mid November.

Swansea have really picked up recently, and I’m confident they’ll bag a goal or two here. They’ve travelled to Arsenal, Newcastle and Liverpool in the last couple of months and beaten all 3 of them. The only blot on their away copybook in the last two months is a 1-0 loss at White Hart Lane against Spurs.

Reading do score goals at home. They won’t be sitting back, and neither will Swansea. Goals here in my view. Goals Galore!

My top 3 treble above pays odds of 3/1 at Betfred. That’s a £40 return for a £10 stake

As always, here are an other 4 selections if you want a little more bang for your buck on Boxing Day and make a 7 fold:

  • QPR v West Brom
  • Stevenage v Coventry
  • Burton Albion v Rochdale
  • Rotherham v Port Vale
The 7 fold pays a whopping £313.30 at Sky Bet for a £10 stake
