Barcelona V Real Madrid: Where To Watch & Bet On The El Clasico Live

Live streaming available at Bet365

Broadcasting laws mean that Saturday’s crucial Clasico isn’t available on UK television but, thankfully, you can still watch the drama unfold live thanks to Bet365’s live in-play console.

With the action starting at 3:15PM (UK time), you’ll be excused for not giving the English football your 100% undivided attention this weekend – not least because this contest could have a huge impact on setting the tone of this year’s Liga title race.

The clue’s in the title; it should be a classic.

Barca Aiming To Bounce Back

Luis Enrique’s men were arguably a little lucky to escape Sociedad with a point last weekend, and those dropped points saw the Balugrana fall even further away from Real Madrid in the title race. With a six point gap to bridge, the hosts simply cannot afford to lose against their arch rivals.

It’s no shock that Barca’s form has faded during the absence of Andres Iniesta. The Spaniard might not be the headline maker, but he is the lynchpin of this team. Having returned to training, both player and club will be desperate to see the captain return. If he does, and can find his feet straight away, the hosts will be a far more dangerous outfit.

With or without Iniesta, Barcelona still boast plenty of attacking threat in the form of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez. Messi has looked particularly impressive in recent weeks, scoring five in his last four club matches. The rivalry’s most frequent scorer is sure to have a massive impact once more.

Barcelona have wobbled in recent weeks, but everyone knows what they are capable of on their day. At the Camp Nou, you’d write them off at your peril.

Zidane Magic To Continue?

Real Madrid’s incredible unbeaten run keeps rolling on and manager Zinedine Zidane is looking more and more like their answer to Pep Guardiola by the week. Nonetheless, the Blancos will be under no illusions about the difficult of this contest.

The 31-game streak will give them confidence but, more importantly, their position at the top of the table means that even a point would signal a great result. Nonetheless, there is little doubt that they’d love to extend their advantage even further.

Cristiano Ronaldo is back to his scoring best, and enters the weekend as La Liga’s top scorer after netting twice in last week’s win over Gijon. Even with Gareth Bale absent, the Blancos have more than enough quality to keep the run going.

Doing that is a lot easier said than done, though. Whatever happens, it should be an afternoon of intense saction.

Barcelona v Real Madrid Betting

In their position as hosts, it’s Barcelona who enter Saturday’s showdown as the pre-game favourites and they are priced 10/11 with Bet365. Real Madrid are available at 13/5 while the draw is 3/1,

Even with the absences, both confirmed and potential, it’s hard to see the Clasico not providing goals and we’ll be backing both teams to find the target at some stage during the proceedings.

While both teams will want to win, the emphasis will surely be placed on avoiding defeat. With this in mind, we’re going to combine that BTTS selection with a draw.

Whatever happens, it should be a thrilling spectacle from start to finish. As neutrals, we’re hoping that the drama will commence from the start. We think it should, which is why we’re also backing a goal to be scored in the opening 22 minutes.
