After the success of last weeks BTTS treble landing – the pressure is really on to maintain it. I have had to scour Europe this week as I was struggling to find a treble domestically that stood out to me.
Alfreton Vs Halifax Saturday 3.00pm
Both teams to score odds – 4/7 Sky Bet
This fixture sees two mid table teams meet at the Racecourse Ground. The reason for this is they both score heavily , but unfortunately for them their defences are woeful. Alfreton have played 8 home matches this season and this has resulted in BTTS 7 times, this is a huge percentage of 87.5%. This is quite remarkable when you think we’ve now hit November.
Halifax have played 7 away games and have been involved in 5 BTTS outcomes. They’ve conceded a staggering 18 goals in 7 away games and against a free scoring Alfreton who average over 2 goals a game at home – I see this continuing and I believe Halifax are worthy of a goal too.
Sevilla Vs Celta Vigo Saturday 9.00pm
Both teams to score odds – 8/11 Sky Bet
Not much of a write up needed with this game, I will simply let the stats do the talking. After watching Sevilla in midweek against Madrid it’s very apparent they’re at sixes and SEVENS at the back currently – but a force going forward. They’ve played 5 games at home this season and each match has seen BTTS and these are the kind of stats we love.
Celta on the other hand have played 5 games away this season and have scored 10 goals an average of 2 a game – they’ve been involved in 3 out of 5 BTTS. I believe with Sevilla’s shaky defence they will continue this trend and with Sevilla average scoring 2.2 goals at home – this a must for our coupon.
Augsburg Vs Mainz Sunday 2.30pm
Both teams to score odds – 4/6 Sky Bet
Not much separates these two teams as we enter November. One similarity they’ve is their shocking defending. They’ve conceded 40 goals between them this season after just ten matches.
Augsburg have been involved in 4 BTTS out of their 5 home fixtures this season, only failing to score against a much stronger Dortmund team.
Mainz has played 4 away games this season and all have these have resulted in BTTS, they even managed to score against the European Champions. On the flip side they’ve conceded 12 in 4 games away from home and this added to the fact that Augsburg are an equally poor team, means this selection will complete my European treble.
