Arturo Vidal linked to Manchester United move

Manchester United look hot on the tail of Arturo Vidal with reports suggesting a £35 million offer is on the table for the impressive Chilean.

This has caused uproar at Juventus and resulted in manager Antonio Conte walking out in a huff at the imminent departure of his playmaker.

Vidal had a remarkable World Cup campaign attracting many onlookers but it seems Manchester United are leading the chase. The price for Vidal seems slightly inflated thanks to his performances in Brazil but United cannot afford to be too cautious with transfers considering their failures last season.

Vidal has played 95 games for Juventus since joining from Bayer Leverkusen in 2011; he has scored 28 goals in the process.

Louis Van Gaal is a known admirer of the 27 year old attack minded playmaker but has slight concerns with a knee injury Vidal had prior to the World Cup. Vidal was unable to complete any of the three games he played throughout the world cup setting alarm bells ringing to prospected buyers.

The Keen interest shown from Manchester United seems likely to push Nani out of the door, possibly to Juventus in a cash plus player transfer deal. Patrice Evra has also been linked as a make-weight to get the deal done.

Vidal has been relaxed over the speculation stating that if he doesn’t get the chance to join man united it won’t be a problem as he is already at a great team.

This transfer is likely to drag on for some time until an agreement can be made on a negotiated price and additions.
