Both Teams To Score Tips Sunday 28th December – Back Goals With Our 11/2 Treble

A full schedule of fixtures is set to keep punters entertained on Sunday afternoon and we’re looking to sit back, relax and win £57 profit with this BTTS treble.

This is the last set of matches before 2015 and teams will be determined to end the calendar year on a high. We’re hoping to take advantage of that extra motivation by backing these six teams to score.

Or you could always add another two selections to qualify for BetVictor’s acca insurance.

Sheffield United V Scunthorpe United

Mark Robins’ Iron have been a particularly reliant source for BTTS punters in recent weeks, with each of their past seven competitive matches ending with goals at both ends, and we’re backing that form to extend to this crucial visit to Bramall Lane.

Scunthorpe’s increased regularity of goals has propelled them to 17th in the League One standings as well as booking their place in the FA Cup third round. This has been a remarkable December for the Glanford Park club and they’ll be hoping to end it in similar fashion with a positive result against Sheffield United.

The Blades have been cut down to size in recent weeks, failing to win any of their previous five league encounters, but they remain in the play-off zone and Nigel Clough will be looking to his strikers for a return to winning ways here.

Whilst last season’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy meeting ended 0-0, four of the past five league meetings have ended in BTTS winners. There should be plenty of action in this one too.

Stevenage V Cambridge United

Our second selection comes from League Two and fans could be in for an explosive affair as Graham Westley’s men bid for a third straight victory.

It has been a turbulent year for Boro to say the least but back-to-back wins over Christmas have improved the spirits at the Lamex Stadium and the home side will be confident of ending 2014 in style against the stuttering U’s. Their vastly improved form has seen them climb into the top 10 and victory in this one could reignite their hopes of reaching the play-offs, so this is a very exciting fixture for the hosts.

However, Richard Money’s men won’t have given up on another promotion just yet and victory in this one could initiate a run towards the play-offs. Defeat to Southend on Boxing Day was their first loss in six competitive matches and the likes of Kewsi Appiah and Tom Elliot will be confident of goals here.

This probably doesn’t have the makings of a seven-goal thriller but there should be ample opportunities for both sides to find the target.

Welling United V Torquay United

Goals are a frequent occurrence in the Vanarama Conference and that has certainly been the case with both Welling and Torquay. We’re predicting a highly entertaining affair as the two teams collide at Park View Road.

Jody Brown’s men have hit 20 goals at home this season and have lost just once in front of their own supporters. However, the hosts have still conceded 12 times on home soil and the Seagulls will definitely fancy their chances in Kent.

Torquay registered a 3-0 win in the reverse fixture at Plainmoor and have additionally found the net 20 times on the road this term. Chris Hargreaves’ men do ship frequently on the road, conceding a total of 23 in 13 away trips so far, so the hosts can hope to find the target here.

Three of Welling’s last four home games have ended in BTTS winners. Back that sequence to continue against Torquay.
