Both Teams To Score Tips Saturday 13th December – Back Goals At Elland Road

All 92 Football League teams know that the next month could be pivotal in deciding their fate and that should ensure that December is a truly fascinating month of action.

We’re looking to take advantage of this fact with Saturday’s BTTS treble, which pays out at exactly 4/1 with Ladbrokes. Lets’ hope that these six teams can give our wallets a timely boost just in time for the festive season.

Game on!

Leeds United V Fulham

Kit Symons’ Cottagers were dealt a bitter blow with last week’s 5-0 humiliation to Watford, but the visitors have generally improved much brighter fortunes in recent weeks and will be quietly confident about picking up a positive result from their trip to Elland Road.

Leeds are stuttering this season but have been fairly consistent at home, picking up five wins and scoring 14 goals. Neil Redfearn’s men definitely boast enough firepower to break through the leaky Fulham defence, which has shipped more away goals than any other Championship outfit, but they will need to be alert at the back.

Fulham’s Ross McCormack has failed to replicate the level of performance shown at Elland Road last term but the Scottish international would love to score against his former employer and that added incentive could give the visitors a much bigger attacking threat during Saturday’s showdown.

This clash could easily go either way and there should be plenty of action. Back both teams to score.

Chesterfield V Bradford City

Chesterfield have enjoyed a pretty decent first year back in League One and are back in the top half thanks to a five-game unbeaten streak. However, the Spireites know they face a difficult afternoon as they welcome the Bantams to the Proact.

In striker Owen Doyle, Chesterfield possess the division’s leading marksman and the hosts will be looking to the Irishman once more as they look to extend their recent good form. Whilst Bradford don’t have any single players capable of competing against Doyle’s tally of 16, the visitors have still scored 26 times this term and are equally likely to find their way past a home defence that has conceded 26 in 19 games.

The Bantams are actually on a run of eight straight BTTS winning matches and there is no reason to think the goals will dry up at either end for Phil Parkinson’s men here. Meanwhile, the fact both teams enter the clash in good form should only further spur on the respective attacking units.

These sides last met in April 2013, sharing four goals in an entertaining 2-2 draw in League Two. That, combined with their respective scoring records in 2014/15 provides us with plenty of confidence in this selection.

Preston North End V MK Dons

Staying in League One and the clash between Preston and MK Dons promises to be a real slobberknocker as these promotion rivals collide at Deepdale.

Last season’s corresponding fixture ended 2-2 and we’re anticipating an equally thrilling encounter here. These sides boast a combined total of 71 goals this season and both boast a number of talented attacking players capable of finding the target.

The fairly strong defences may put some punters off but they have each conceded at a rate of one goal per game. Additionally, both teams enter the clash on the back of two straight league wins so confidence will be high amongst the players.

There is a chance that the two sides will cancel each other out but we think the respective frontlines can get the better of their opponents.
