Both teams to score football tips Sat 19th July

The BTTS Coupon – 19th July

This Saturday’s both teams to score treble is a Scandinavian special and we’re hoping the following six teams will provide a perfect start to the weekend.

With all three matches taking place in the middle of the afternoon, it should keep us well entertained before hitting the town on Saturday night. Good luck.

HJK Helsinki v SJK. 2PM.

It’s a clash of the titans in Finland’s Veikkausliiga as leaders HJK entertain second-placed SJK at the Sonera Stadium. It should be an explosive affair and we’re hoping it will be packed with goals.

Heading into this weekend’s crucial clash, the hosts hold a nine-point advantage over their nearest challenger. However, with a game in hand, SJK could pile the pressure on with an away win.

The visitors were only founded in 2007 yet have already climbed to the top division and also won the League Cup earlier this year. They are still some way short of reaching the standard of Saturday’s opponents, but SJK are certainly at the forefront of Finnish football and are more than capable of an upset.

One downer for this selection is the strong defensive records of both teams. However, the majority of other clubs aren’t at this level and this is easily one of the more difficult games of the campaign for each of these rivals. We’re hoping the prolific strikers will cause havoc at both end of the pitch.

HJK are certainly the favourites heading into this one and we’d be surprised if they don’t find the target. Nevertheless, they must be careful about SJK and think that the visitors could leave the Sonera with a score draw.

Gefle v Halmstad BK

Our second selection comes from the Swedish Allsvenskan and we’re predicting goals galore in the contest between Gefle and Halmstad.

These two rivals are caught in a fierce fight for survival and both will be equally desperate for a crucial three points. The hosts sit just one point above the bottom three, while the visitors are trapped just one place off the bottom. A long battle awaits each of these teams and victory at Stromvallen.

Neither side are particularly prolific scorers but each are finding the net regularly enough for us to have confidence in this bet. Both Gefle and Halmstad have hit 15 goals from 14 matches. The hosts have conceded eight fewer than Saturday’s opponents, though, with the visitors shipping 25 times already.

Nevertheless, Halmstad do possess goals in Icelandic duo Baldvisson and Steindorsson. Jens Gustafsson’s men certainly won’t be frightened of Gefle and we think they will at least threaten their opponents.

Unfortunately, though, Gefle are the stronger side and should at least get on the scoreboard too.

Landskrona Bois v Varnamo. 3PM

Back-to-back defeats in Sweden’s Superettan division has seen Varanamo lose major ground in the race for promotion but will be hopeful of returning to winning ways with their trip to lowly Landskrona.

The hosts may be sat in the bottom four, but two wins from three matches has rejuvenated the whole team and survival could yet be possible for Patrik Johansson’s men. However, they will need to drastically improve their form at the Idrottsplats – the contest against an out-of-form Varanamo is the perfect opportunity to do that.

However, despite their poor record at home in term of results, Landskrona’s goal record at home is good. The last five league matches here have ended in BTTS winners, while their overall stats read 21 for and 30 against from 15 Superettan encounters.

This league is generally quite scoring anyway and the fact that both teams are scoring and conceding a lot of goals is promising. Varanamo have scored 22 whilst shipping 21 from their 15 outings and goals should be the theme of the day on Saturday.

We still think Varanamo will get something from this game, but they may have to work hard for it.
