For the New Year special goals galore my team of BTTS fans have providede me with their version of the best both teams to score treble for their very first bet of the year.

The Leeds game is also included in my very own BTTS treble for 1st Janusry, and I have high hopes that my team will provide the goods this Tuesday:

Rochdale v Rotherham

Rochdale have scored 14 goals in their last 5 games but have also conceded 13 including a massive win away from home against high flying Bradford 4-2. Their other 4 games finished 3-2, 3-2,4-1 and 4-2 I think that is enough said for Rochdale.

Rotherham also had a great win at the weekend 4-1 and have scored at least once in their last 10 games, in most of these games they have scored plenty!

Head to head history also looks great for this bet; both teams have scored in 6 of their 7 meetings since 2007. This game must be on everyone’s coupon for New Year’s Day.

Leeds vs Bolton

Bolton visit Elland Road this weekend in astonishing BTTS form. In their 13 away games this season, 12 matches have seen both teams finding the net, and they have conceded in every one. Their opening road trip this season was the only time they failed to beat the keeper. Their last 5 away days average 4.2 goals per game.

Leeds have an amazing home scoring record this season, they have scored in 16/17 home matches, and their last 5 matches at home average 3 goals per game. This game shouts goals, and with both teams personal scoring records, home and away, Both teams to score looks a banker.

Peterborough v Barnsley

It’s 23rd v 24th in the Championship as a somewhat resurgent Peterborough play host to rock bottom Barnsley. Although I fancy a home win here, the stats for both teams to score in this game are hard to ignore.

In Peterborough’s 12 matches at home in the league this season, both teams have scored in 9 of these, scoring in the last seven in a row and failing to score at home only twice all season.

7 out of 11 of Barnsley’s away league games have seen both teams find the net and they have only failed to score in 3 away games this season.

The same fixture last season ended in a seven goal thriller, 4-3 to Barnsley. With both teams latest results, and especially Peterborough’s goal-laden games of late, this game has goals galore written all over it.
