‘Barclays Premier League’
Premier League Best Bets Sunday 12th May
I’m having trouble writing this as my brain is still trying to come to terms with Wigan beating Manchester City yesterday, but I’ll do my best to share my thoughts on today’s Premier League fixtures, which begins with Tottenham trying to get something from Stoke at 1.30pm, today’s live game.
Here are my Premier League ramblings for today:
Chelsea v Tottenham 8th May – It’s A Mata of Whether Spurs Can Handle Juan
Kick Off: Wednesday 8th May
Live on TV: 7.45pm Sky Sports 1
The race for the Premier League title has hardly been enthralling this season, with United virtually home and hosed months ago. However, the three-way battle for the two remaining Champions League qualification spots behind the Manchester clubs has been gripping.
Manchester United v Chelsea – Champions Can Relax But Can Blues Take Advantage?
Kick Off: Sunday 5th May
Live on TV: 4.00pm Sky Sports 1
Chelsea secured their spot in the Europa League final when seeing off Basel during the week and they travel north to square up against Premier League champions Manchester United on Sunday, with a place in next season’s Champions League the prize being pursued by the Blues.
Premier League Sunday 5th May: Liverpool And Everton Do Battle For Merseyside Bragging Rights
Kick Off: Sunday 5th May
Live on TV: 1.30pm Sky Sports 1
There isn’t a great deal at stake when Liverpool entertain Everton at Anfield on Sunday, but try telling that to a Merseysider.
Indeed, while the horse has bolted for both clubs in terms of any remote possibility of mounting a challenge for a Champions League spot next season, Merseyside bragging rights will be more than enough of an incentive for both sides to throw the kitchen sink at each other this weekend.
