Serie A Live Streaming: Fiorentina v AC Milan – Who Will Win Sunday’s Showdown?

Live streaming available on Bet365

Italian rivals Fiorentina and AC Milan might not boast the level of talent that they did in previous seasons, but Sunday’s Serie A encounter at the Stadio Atermio Franchi promises to be a fascinating spectacle.

Neither the Viola or Rossoneri will be winning the title in 2016-17, but both will be hoping to secure a return to Champions League football by sealing a top three position. Winning this fixture could be massive to those respective ambitions, which should lead to a cracking contest.

And you can watch the drama unfold live on Bet365.

Paulo Sousa’s Men To Maintain 100% Home Record?

After finishing fifth in 2015-16, Fiorentina will have huge aspirations of breaking the top three this term, and know that they will need to make their home ground a fortress to have any chance of making this happen. After opening their home campaign with back-to-back 1-0 wins, things have certainly started well.

A strong defence has unsurprisingly been the source of their positive start at home, especially in the win over Roma. However, Paulo Sousa’s men are blessed with decent attacking options also in the form of Nikola Kalinic, Khouma Babacar, and Cristian Tello. Against a Milan side that has conceded a lot of goals over the past two years, they have every reason to be confident.

The hosts can also take confidence from a 2-0 win in last season’s corresponding fixture. Even with one eye cast towards Thursday’s Europa League match against Qarabag, the Viola will be fancied to grab the crucial win that would fire them ahead of Milan with a game in hand.

But Milan certainly won’t roll over for the hosts…

Milan Finally On A Comeback?

It’s certainly been a difficult couple of years for one of European football’s greatest clubs, but AC Milan finally look to be heading back in the right direction under the management of former Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Montella.

The Rossoneri have picked up nine points from five matches so far, and will be quietly confident of challenging for a return to Europe – even if the Europa League looks a more likely scenario. They could fire a huge signal of intent with a shock win in Florence.

Star man Carlos Bacca starts the weekend’s action as the division’s second-highest scorer, and the Colombian could be key to AC’s chances here. Meanwhile, experience captain Riccardo Montolivo will be hoping to stamp his authority on the game.

Casual followers of Italian football will be eager to catch another glimpse of teen goalkeeping sensation Gianluigi Donnnaruma too. There’s plenty to keep us glued to our screens. With a little luck, we’ll be celebrating with some tidy profit too.

Fiorentina v AC Milan Betting

With home advantage on their side, Fiorentina are 23/20 favourites on the pre-game markets while Bet365 have priced AC Milan at 5/2. The draw, meanwhile, can be backed at 11/5.

Fiorentina have been impressive at home, especially defensively, but their defence will concede a home goals sooner rather than later. There’s a good chance that Bacca will be the man to score it, but the hosts would still fancy their chances of securing a point at the very least.

Goals have been a regular feature at both ends of the pitch when AC are involved. We’re expecting that trend to continue by backing both teams to score.

Another bet we like, is no booking before 24 minutes. It will be a passionate affair but, unless there’s a really bad challenge, a yellow card so early in the game looks unlikely. At odds of 5/6, it’s well worth a 24-minute sweat.
