Rangers v Celtic Sunday 25th March – Can Bhoys Claim Title At Ibrox?

Kick Off: Sunday 25th March
Live on Sky Sports 1 1.00pm

RangersCeltic make the short trip to Ibrox on Sunday to face Rangers and can secure the league title with a win against their bitter rivals in the Old Firm derby. In a sub standard season by normal standards, Celtic haven’t showed the class of the Henrik Larsson era, but find themselves in a fantastic position against a Rangers team that have had a nightmarish season.

I can’t recall the last time Rangers were at risk of losing four home games on the trot, and Celtic will be licking their lips at the chance of rubbing their arch rivals noses in it by winning the league at Ibrox.

Although Celtic will be bitterly disappointed to lose the League Cup Final to Kilmarnock last weekend, their form in the league has been nothing short of outstanding; a run of 21 games undefeated with 18 wins and 3 draws has seen them obliterate their rivals, although at times they have struggled to finish games off. 6 of their last 8 wins against top half opposition have been by the odd goal.

Rangers 14/5
Draw 13/5
Celtic 10/11

Rangers season has been destroyed by their terrible form since November and their 10 point deduction due to going into administration, but if there is one thing they would love to do, it would be to prevent Celtic from winning the title at Rangers ground.

Celtic are as short as 10/11 with the bookies to beat Rangers, a price unheard of normally considering they are the away team.

While everything in the form book points to the visitors achieving their aim, Rangers will be desperate to disappoint Celtic, and they could scrape a draw, which at the very least would delay the Bhoys celebrations.

The Rangers defensive partnership of Carlos Bocanegra and Dorian Goian returns after suspension, and this may be enough to hold firm and grab a point.
