Mikey’s Baseball Tips Friday 13th July: Jays A Stand Out Bet To See Off Indians

After a nice few day’s off for the All star break it’s great to get back to league action with a bumper night ahead with most of the leading contenders in action.
For me on Friday night I’m just concentrating on one particular game with a couple of bets standing out to me, the game I’m going with is between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Cleveland Indians which starts at 12.05am BST. The pitchers for this game are Ricky Romero for the Blue Jays and Justin Masterson for the Tribe.

Romero has been pretty decent this year with a fairly good 8-4 record and in his last outing he threw 6 pretty decent innings of 4 hit ball even though he took the loss for the match-up he showed some great stuff against a very powerful White Sox team.

Masterson on the other hand in his last outing got completely battered for 4 1/3 innings giving up 8 runs on 9 hits, the likes of Jose Bautista and the other Blue Jay power houses should be looking forward to Masterson coming to their ballpark.

My bets for tonight are a single on the Blue Jays to beat the Indians at best price 4/5 with Ladbrokes.

I will also be having a punt on the Jays to win with a -1.5 handicap at best price 8/5 again with Ladbrokes.

The Jays have much more power and a better pitcher on the mound tonight so we should take advantage of this and cash in.
