The 2-1 loss to Chelsea came so close after City’s disappointing exit from the Champions League, that fans may be worried that their may be a slight lack of confidence going into this huge game against The Gunners.

Robin Van Persie has been inspirational this season with 15 goals in 15 games, and has been the driving force behind Arsenal’s recovery after a poor start to the campaign.
There is no doubt that this could be a season defining game for both teams. A win for City would display their ability to bounce back from disappointment, against an if form team.
A win for Arsenal could put them right back in the chase for the Premier League title, something that would be laughed at had you mentioned it back in October.
