La Liga Live Streaming & Betting Preview: Deportivo La Coruna v Barcelona

After the sheer madness of Wednesday night, Barcelona turn their attentions back to defending their domestic crown as they make the trip to the Estadio Riazor on Sunday afternoon.

Given that Real Madrid aren’t playing until later in the day, it’s a fantastic chance for the Blaugrana to crank up the pressure. Then again, Pepe Mel’s men may have something to say about that. Either way, nobody will want to miss out following Barca’s midweek drama.

Bring it on!

Deportivo Out To Move Away From The Drop Zone

Branquaizuis are already sitting just above the drop zone, and know that they’ll be ending the weekend above the dreaded bottom three too. However, the visit of Barcelona gives them a free shot at establishing a healthier lead over those teams below them. The fact they have nothing to lose could make them more dangerous than ever.

The hosts do score fairly regularly on home soil too, registering 17 goals in their 12 home Liga matches thus far. However, given Barcelona’s current scoring form, they could well need more than just one goals to secure a share of the spoils here.

Guilherme and Gael Kakuta sidelined too, which will make Deportivo’s task all the more harder. On a brighter note, the hosts have lost just one of their last eight competitive games at the Riazor while they even picked up a draw against Atletico earlier in the month.

With Barcelona potentially vulnerable to a post-Champions League hangover too, the hosts might just have a chance.

Barcelona To Complete Perfect Turnaround

What a difference a few weeks makes. The treble is suddenly back on for Luis Enrique’s men, and a return of 17 goals in three games suggests that the Catalan giants are back to their best.

Barcelona’s away record hasn’t been quite as explosive, but a 2-1 win at Atletico in their last away game shows that they do boast the right mentality. With Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Neymar all scoring goals regularly at this moment, that firepower could make all the difference on Sunday afternoon.

The visitors won’t be short of confidence against this opponent either, especially as they registered an 8-0 win in last year’s corresponding fixture before picking up a 4-0 win in this season’s reverse clash. If those attacking qualities are on display once more, anything the Deportivo players do will be virtually irrelevant.

Barcelona will be strong favourites, but they could fall into the trap of complacency. If they do bring their best, though, it could be another attacking masterclass from the world’s best attacking trio. It should be a joy to watch, and will hopefully land us a decent amount of profit too.

Deportivo La Coruna v Barcelona Betting

Barcelona are firm favourites for this one and are priced 1/5 to grab the win with 888sport while Deportivo are priced 12/1. Alternatively, the draw can be backed at 11/2.

Barcelona have been in tremendous form, culminating with that incredible show on Wednesday night. While it’s hard to see them replicating the six goals again here, there’s every chance that their momentum will fire them to an easy win.

When combined with the recent head-to-head record, the Asian handicap is more than a little tempting. If they win by two it’s a refund, win by three for a win.

For all their team brilliance, Messi was a little quiet as Neymar overshadowed him against PSG. Of course, the Argentinian did still find the net from 12 yards. Nonetheless, he’ll be determined to put in a big performance here as his side look to keep the title in their sights.

Back him to grab at least two goals on Sunday.
