Besiktas travel to Kayserispor for this Turkish Super League clash this evening, and a win for the away side is of paramount importance. Besiktas sit in 3rd place in the league behind leaders Galatasaray and Fenerbahce- who both managed to lose their latest games.

Besiktas are now just 5 points behind leaders Galatasaray with a game in hand. A convincing win here could also put them above Fenerbahce on goal difference.

They are undefeated in all competitions since early November 2011; an amazing run of 15 games without a loss, and actually winning 11 of them matches.

Kayserispor are an average mid-table team whose form has been up and down all season.

While it would be foolish to completely discard them for this clash, it seems a tall task for them to really make an impression here against a very good Besiktas side.

Kayserispor did impress in December at home, winning all 3 games without conceding. However in 2012 they have already lost 0-2 to 9th placed Bursaspor and scraped a 1-1 draw with 14th placed Gaziantepspor in their latest home game.
