Goals Galore Treble Saturday 20th April – Blackburn Could Be A Goal Feast
I’ve left the goals galore bet alone for the last week or so, as it really does pay to take stock of the goal situation every now and then. With the end of the season fast approaching, and some clubs already appearing to be on their summer break, results can be a bit dodgy at this time of year. However this Saturday looks a perfect time to jump back on the goals galore train, and there are some very inviting fixtures.
Blackburn Rovers v Norwich City 3.00pm
Blackburn have an extremely hard battle on their hands if they are to survive in the Premier League, and are currently bottom of the form table with 5 straight losses.
However, Norwich visit Ewood Park on Saturday, and The Canaries have the tag of being the only team in the Premier League not to keep a single clean sheet on their travels this season.
Combined with the fact that Blackburn’s goals galore stats check out at 24 positive results in their 34 games played, as well as their games averaging 3.47 goals over the span of the season, both teams to score looks a great bet.
Brighton v Birmingham 3.00pm
Birmingham are definitely a team to follow at the moment when it comes to this bet, and they are trending massively.
They have now scored and conceded in their last 9 consecutive games both home and away, and are far from the solid defensive outfit they were earlier in the season, which may be down to nerves as they are contesting for a play off place. Although losing just 1 of these 9 games, 6 of these matches have contained 4 goals or more… with both teams scoring on every occasion.
Brighton have lost just 1 of their last 10 at home, and have failed to score on just the 1 occasion. Birmingham’s inability to keep a clean sheet more or less guarantees an open contest, and goals look very likely.
Bolton v Swansea 3.00pm
Bolton are fighting for their very survival in the Premier League, and with Swansea safely past the 40 point mark, they will consider themselves to have had a very good season. This alone could be a very good indicator that there will be goals in this game.
Bolton are desperate for the 3 points and will consider this home fixture a must win game, which will mean that they must approach this game with an attacking mindset.
The pressure is off Swansea, and they are conceding much more goals than they did earlier in the season as a result of this.
But Bolton have kept just 3 clean sheets at home this season, and the very fact that they will be on the hunt for the all important winning goal will surely leave them vulnerable to concede.
The teams have met twice this season already, once in the FA Cup, with both teams scoring on both occasions. This game looks very likely to contain at least a few goals.
