It’s the weekend again and time for our favourite bet. Plenty of goals look likely in lots of matches and there are some obvious selections for Saturday. We’ve had plenty of winners over the last few weeks and we hope Saturday will be a bumper payday for our bets.
Odds: 8/15 with Ladbrokes
This match looks to have goals written all over it. Peterborough are simply unable to keep a clean sheet, but also score plenty of goals.
Both teams have scored in 14 of Peterborough’s 17 league matches, and they are on a run of 9 consecutive matches in which both teams have scored.
‘Boro have scored in 4 of their last 5 games and seem certain of grabbing at least 1 goal, with The Posh also likely scorers.
Odds: 4/6 with Ladbrokes
Norwich have been great for Goals Galore so far this season, both scoring and conceding in 10 of their 12 league games played.
There’s no reason to think exactly the same won’t happen again in this tie, as QPR have scored 8 goals in their last 4 games, including a 3-2 away win over Stoke last weekend.
Odds: 5/6 with Skybet
Stoke have been shipping goals recently and aren’t in good form at all. The Brittania is losing the ‘fortress’ tag and The Potters have conceded 8 goals in their last 3 home games.
Blackburn are also doing terribly and are under pressure for results, but have scored in every way fixture so far this season, and look capable of carrying on the trend against a leaky Stoke team.
Odds: 8/13 with Bet365
Both teams have scored in all 6 of Chesterfield’s most recent games. Their last 4 have contained 22 goals, and that looks great for visitors Sheffield United who look capable of winning this match, but not without conceding.
Other games worth considering:
- Plymouth v Northampton
- Bournemouth v Oldham
- Rotherham v Crawley
