Football Accumulator Betting Tips Tuesday 24th February – Tractor Boys To Give Birmingham The Blues

Whilst all eyes will naturally be cast to this week’s mouth-watering Champions League matches, punters should not forget that there is a fairly decent selection of matches across the English leagues on offer too. That’s where we’re looking to make our money on Tuesday night with this tasty treble.

We’re backing three in-form home sides to all gain important victories to help their respective promotion bids.

Let’s hope they can all send their fans home happy and leave us counting our profit. Good luck!

Ipswich Town V Birmingham City

The Tractor Boys suffered a disappointing defeat at the weekend but weren’t really punished by their Championship title rivals. They can certainly be confident back on home soil, especially against an away side that has won just four times on the road.

Nobody in the Championship has won more home games than Ipswich, who boast 10 wins at Portman Road already. Equally impressive is their home defensive record, which stands at just 10 conceded and is also another joint record for the division.

Birmingham only need another few positive results to secure Championship survival, but will be lucky to take anything from this trip. Home win.

Preston North End V Walsall

A run of three straight victories has thrust Simon Grayson’s men up to fourth in the current League One standings and we’re tipping another win for the Lilywhites as they look to gain further comfort in their bid to secure a place in the play-offs.

The hosts have been brilliant in recent weeks and even gave Manchester United a major FA Cup scare earlier this month. It was important for North End to bounce back to winning ways on Saturday, which they did, and we’re backing them to score another three points against Walsall.

Visiting Walsall are going OK, but a return of one point from the last available six indicates a slight dip in results. That loss of form could be down to the fact their mid-table position means their season is already over and Dean Smith faces a real challenge in keeping his players motivated over the coming weeks.

High-flying Preston have lost just one league game at Deepdale this term, expect that home advantage to see them through here.

Bristol Rovers V Braintree Town

Darrell Clarke’s Pirates have done amazingly well to close the gap on Barnet and, quite incredibly, will go top of the Vanarame Conference if they can seal another three points against Braintree.

Rovers enter this crucial clash on the back of three straight victories and will be supremely confident against an away side that has lost two of its last three fixtures. Additionally, Bristol will take huge inspiration from their incredible form at the Memorial Ground, where they’ve scored 27 and conceded just nine.

A dozen wins and four draws from their 17 home games is a joint best record in the division and has been central to their ascent up the league. Conversely, Alan Devonshire’s men have lost 10 of their 15 away games and should be prepared for another difficult match here.

Bristol Rovers are suddenly looking great value to gain automatic promotion back to the Football League and they should take another step towards that goal with yet another home win.
