Football Accumulator Betting Tips Tuesday 21st October – A Champions League & Football League Treble

Tuesday’s football schedule offers punters a combination of Football League and Champions League matches and we’re hoping to take advantage with this tasty 10/1 treble at BetVictor.

We’re backing the following three teams to all earn vital victories in their respective quests for glory.

Here are our selections:

Schalke 04 V Sporting Lisbon

Our first selection comes from the Champions League and we’re backing Roberto Di Matteo to celebrate his first European game in charge on the Germans with a comfortable home win.

An awful start to 2014/15 under Jens Keller saw Schalke make the managerial change and the club saw instant results with the 2-0 Bundesliga win over Hertha Berlin on Saturday. The Gelsenkirchen-based side should follow that up with a first Champions League win over Sporting Lisbon.

The Portuguese visitors will put up a fight but should be no match for the Germans. We’ve already seen the away side drop points to minnows Maribor, as well as being torn apart by Chelsea, and they are likely to come up short at the Veltins Arena.

With an in-form Klaas Jan-Huntelaar leading the line, Schalke will be confident of scoring goals. We fully expect them to register a vital three points as they edge towards the knockouts.

Charlton Athletic V Bolton Wanderers

Championship side Charlton suffered a damaging defeat at Bournemouth but the Addicks can find a return to winning ways as they face struggling Bolton at the Valley.

The Trotters may have claimed a win against Birmingham from Neil Lennon’s first game in charge but the former Celtic boss knows there is a lot of work to be carried out at the Macron Stadium and an away triumph could be one step beyond their ability.

Bolton will almost definitely enjoy brighter times under Lennon but Charlton have been brilliant at the Valley, picking up three wins and three draws so far, and will fancy their chances of securing a vital victory here. A win could propel Bob Peeters men back into the top six and that should provide the hosts with all the incentive needed to put on a good show.

Conversely, the visitors have conceded 11 goals on the road already whilst managing just two in reply. Bolton have lost five of six away games this term and even the change of manager is unlikely to stop their poor form. Home win.

Exeter City V Wycombe Wanderers

Gareth Ainsworth’s Chairboys are up to first place in the League Two standings thanks to a 10-game unbeaten run and they should fancy their chances against a stuttering Exeter at St James’ Park.

Wycombe are the only side in the division yet to lose on the road this season whilst the hosts have picked up just one win from six games on home soil. Perhaps more crucially, though, Paul Tisdale’s men additionally lost their most recent home gam to struggling Hartlepool so the visitors can be extremely optimistic about stretching their unbeaten streak here.

It’s still very much early days in the League Two season but Wycombe are definitely one of the better sides in the basement division and are already showing their promotion credentials at Adams Park and on the road. Their formidable defensive line is already proving to be a key facet of their success and another clean sheet could ensure another three points on Tuesday.

At the other end, the experienced Paul Hayes will be looking to add to his personal tally of six league goals whilst defender Peter Murphy will also hope to continue his current purple patch in front of goal.

The Chairboys could be pushed all the way by Exeter, but their superiority should shine through.
