Football Accumulator Betting Tips Saturday 17th October – Burnley To Batter Trotters

We return to a full set of domestic fixtures this weekend, which opens up our options for a Saturday accumulator. And we’re confident that these three selections will lead us to a comfortable 4/1 winner this weekend.

The three teams that we’ve selected will all be fancied to clinch the points in home games against poor opposition, and we’re hoping that they will fulfil those expectations to leave us with some extra beer tokens come 5PM.

Good luck!

Burnley V Bolton Wanderers

Sean Dyche’s Burnley have enjoyed a fairly decent start to their first year back in the Championship and will still be confident about securing an instant return back to the Premier League. However, if they are going to achieve promotion, then a home game with Bolton is one that they have to win.

The Clarets should be expected to clinch the three points against an away side that’s currently sat in the relegation zone. The firepower of Sam Vokes and Andre Gray should be confident against the leaky Bolton defence while the home defence will be equally optimistic about their hopes of keeping a shutout.

Neil Lennon’s visitors will be particularly worried by the fact they’ve conceded 12 goals in five away games, but the lack of goals from Emile Heskey and co is an equally worrying statistic. Those issues at both ends of the pitch have seen the Trotters claim just one point from a possible 15 away from the Macron.
We can’t see that changing here. Home win.

Coventry City V Blackpool

Struggling Blackpool have enjoyed a slight upturn in fortunes recently with back-to-back wins over Chesterfield and Swindon, but Neil McDonald’s men should be prepared for a crash back down to earth as they travel to high-flying Coventry.

The Tangerines remain in the relegation zone in spite of their recent victories, and the fact they’ve only scored nine goals this season is a major cause for concern. Meanwhile, the visitors are unlikely to keep a clean sheet against a home outfit that has scored 11 goals in just five matches at the Ricoh Arena.

In addition to their team success, Coventry also boast the division’s top scorer in on-loan star Adam Armstrong. The teen star already has eight league goals this term and should fancy his chances of more against the relegation battlers.

Blackpool are improving, but the gulf in quality should see the Sky Blues prevail.

Chester V Halifax Town

In the Conference, struggling Halifax Town have lost seven of eight matches on the road this season. Unfortunately, Darren Kelly’s men could be in for another difficult afternoon as they make the trip to Chester.

Home side Chester might not be the strongest side in the division, but Steve Burr’s men have only lost two games at the Swansway Stadium this term. They’ve also scored at least twice in each of their past four matches and will be fancied to pile the pressure on an away side that has shipped 22 times on the road.

One of the most positive factors for the hosts is that they are scoring goals from a wide number of sources. This could make it extremely difficult for the travelling Shaymen, and we’re backing the attacking quality of Chester to make the difference.

Chester have already beaten Halifax in the reverse fixture this season. We’re backing them to complete the double on Saturday.
