Football Accumulator Betting Tips Saturday 13th December – Addicks To Squash Tangerines

It’s back to Football League action after last weekend’s FA Cup distraction and we’re looking to win big with this 5/1 treble at BetVictor.

We’re backing three home teams to all score easy wins against struggling opposition and are hopeful of boosting our wallets just in time for the festive season.

Come on!

Charlton Athletic V Blackpool

A truly dreadful season has improved slightly for Blackpool thanks to a run of five points from three games under new boss Lee Clarke, but the Tangerines remain eight points off safety and could be in for another tough afternoon as they head to the capital.

The visitors are yet to win a single away game in the Championship and that seems unlikely to change against an Addicks side that has lost just once at the Valley this term. That defeat did come in their last home game, though, so Bob Pieters’ men will be even more determined to bounce back in style here.

Charlton’s recent form has been a little worrying but the Londoners are still only three points below the play-offs and victory against the rock-bottom strugglers could really give their promotion bid a gigantic boost going into the Christmas period.

Blackpool haven’t won any of their four trips to the Valley this century and we can’t see that changing here.

Oldham Athletic V Yeovil Town

Our second selection comes from League One and we’re backing the high-flying Latics to keep their momentum going with an easy win over relegation battlers Yeovil.

There will be extra attention on this game as the respective managers are father and son. Whilst Gary Johnson could really do with a favour from his son Lee, the hosts are unlikely to take things easy as they bid to remain in the play-offs. Oldham moved back into sixth with a fantastic 3-0 win at Rochdale in their last game and will be eager to keep their push for promotion going here.

Yeovil’s away form is actually better than their home record but that really isn’t saying much and the Glovers must tighten up at the back if they are serious about staying in this division. The visitors have shipped 15 in just nine away games and those defences wobbles could cost them dearly at Boundary Park.

Oldham are enjoying a great season and know that a good few weeks could put them in pole position to grab one of the play-off spots. Back Lee Johnson to get the better of his old man.

Burton Albion V Hartlepool United

It has been another horrendous campaign for Hartlepool United, who were embarrassed once again with their shock FA Cup exit to Blyhte Spartans last week, and Paul Murray’s men are in real danger of dropping out of the Football League. Their situation could be about to get a whole lot worse as they head to promotion-chasing Burton Albion.

Hartlepool are already six points from safety and a return of one point from the last available 21 will certainly have the alarm bells ringing around Victoria Park. Conversely, the Brewers have dropped just eight points at the Pirelli Stadium and will be confident about keeping their promotion charge going with another victory here.

If other results go their way, three points could actually see Burton go top and that in itself will make Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s team-talk a very easy task. After beating Luton in their last home game, Hartlepool shouldn’t pose any real threat at all.

After falling at the final hurdle in 2013/14, Burton will be desperate to gain promotion this term. Winning games like this are a necessity if they want that dream to become reality and we think they’ll live up to those expectations. Home win.
