Football Acca Betting Tips: Which Teams Should You Back To Win On Saturday?

After landing a fantastic 12/1 treble last Saturday, we’re looking to end the month in style with another weekend winner.

Once again, we’ve picked three sides that we expect to grab vital victories at an important stage of the season. With potential returns of 11/2, it has to be worth a punt. Here are our selections.

Charlton Athletic v AFC Wimbledon

Karl Robinson’s in-form Addicks are up to fourth in the League One table while they still have a game in hand on three teams above them. A home win at the Valley on Saturday should keep the pressure up on their promotion rivals, and they’ll be expecting to do nothing less against lowly Wimbledon.

The hosts have enjoyed a six-game unbeaten streak, and can look to the firepower of Ricky Holmes, Josh Magennis, and Tarique Fosu for inspiration against the Dons. After winning four of six in total on home soil, Charlton should have too much for the visitors.

Wimbledon are still struggling to get their season up and running, scoring just nine goals in 15 league outings. While the quality is there, Neil Ardley’s men have failed for form and confidence. Against such a strong home side, that could be telling here.

Charlton will be desperate to get the win ahead of a huge clash against Shrewsbury in two weeks time, after next weekend’s cup clash with Truro. We’re backing them to do it.

Lincoln City v Crawley Town

Lincoln City have acclimatised to life in League Two with far greater ease than Forest Green, and the Imps are sitting 10th in the table after 15 matches. Danny Cowley’s men will be eyeing up potential back-to-back promotions via the play-offs, and a win against Crawley would keep them in the hunt heading into the middle third of the season.

The Imps did lose at Cheltenham last weekend but bounced back to winning ways on Tuesday in the EFL Trophy to restore some confidence. At Sincil Bank, however, the hosts have tasted defeat just once in seven league games. With goals being distributed around the team, they’ll certainly fancy their chances.

Harry Kewell’s Crawley have improved slightly, but they are still down in 19th and enter this weekend’s clash having won just one of their last six. Despite a fairly decent defensive record, a lack of firepower has manifested itself in a return of just 12 goals so far. That could be damning on this trip to Lincolnshire.

It could be a tight affair, but we’re backing the hosts to prevail.

Sutton United v Ebbsfleet United

Ebbsfleet United have been one of the National League’s in-from sides in recent weeks. However, Daryl McMahon’s men could be set to come crashing back to earth as they make the trip to Gander Green Lane.

Sutton are fourth in the table and boast a seven match unbeaten streak in all competitions. While they’ll need to turn some of the draws into wins if they want to claim promotion, Paul Doswell’s side are looking good. The quality of Craig Eastmond, Nicky Bailey, and Tommy Wright gives them great strength all over the pitch. We expect that to show here.

The visitors certainly boast some quality, not least in the form of veteran striker Danny Kedwell. However, they will need to get used to the playing surface while it’s worth noting they’ve won just two of their eight away games so far.

We’re backing Sutton to edge it. Let’s just hope the other two picks come in to land another winning treble.
