Dutch Jupiler League Over 2.5 Goals – Friday 23rd March Treble

It’s almost the weekend again, and there’s no better way to get it started than to have a nice little touch on a Friday evening to boost the weekend betting bank. As I’ve mentioned time and time again, Dutch 2nd division football is the ‘over 2.5’ capital of Europe, and it would be rude not to indulge in a cheeky treble. Here is this weeks bet.

Almere City v Oss 7.00pm

Here we have two of the best teams for over 2.5 goals this season going head to head. Almere city have hit the 3 or more goal mark in 84.6% of their games while opponents Oss aren’t far behind on 78.6%.

Oss haven’t kept a single clean sheet on their travels so far, but have managed to chip in with 5 away goals in their last 4 games.

Almere haven’t had it all their own way recently; winning just 1 of their last 7 games. However the reverse fixture earlier this season was a goal fest that finished 4-3, and another looks on the cards.

FC Emmen v Fortuna Sittard 7.00pm

FC Emmen are leaking goals left right and centre- conceding a staggering 17 goals without reply in their last 5 games.

They couldn’t have been facing Fortuna Sittard at a worse time. The visitors are unbeaten in their last 7 and have scored 17 goals in the process, most recently recording a 4-2 away win over AGOVV.

Fortuna may bag a hatful here against their woeful opponents.

Volendam v Sparta Rotterdam 7.00pm

Volendam(14th) are another team really struggling to gain many points. Without a win in their last 7 games, they have conceded 15 goals in the process and replied with just 6.

Sparta Rotterdam(2nd) have lost their last couple of games rather unexpectedly, but this is a perfect opportunity to record a confidence building win.

Prior to their latest 2 defeats, Sparta had enjoyed 5 consecutive wins, knocking in plenty of goals and playing some fantastic football. Volendam should provide plenty of chances for them to get convincingly back on track.
