Snooker’s second-longest running tournament, the Masters, will make Alexandra Palace its home until at least 2015, according to a new deal sealed by Barry Hearn.
In an interview with the World Snooker website, Hearn, the sport’s chairman, says: “We are thrilled to sign this new three-year agreement to keep the Masters at Alexandra Palace.
Roberto Mancini has spoken of how winning the hard way is “the City way”, after the Blues struggled to their first league title in 44 years at the weekend.
Speaking on the club’s official website, he said: “The supporters have never lost faith or patience – even in the last five minutes [of the final match].
