Brazil V Colombia Live Streaming – Neymar To Inspire Selecao Again

Brazil V Colombia

Thursday 18th June. 1AM. Streamed Live On Bet365

One of the highlights of this year’s Copa America sees a repeat of a memorable World Cup 2014 quarter-final as Brazil face Colombia.

It was Brazil who won that battle on home soil 12 months ago, but anything could happen in Peru. It should be an explosive affair and you can watch the action live on Bet365.

Copa America So Far

This year’s Copa is already looking wide open as none of the eight teams to have played twice boast a 100% record. However, Brazil and Venezuela could change that tonight.

Host nation Chile are looking strong favourites to top Group A after picking up four points so far and La Roja will be thrilled with Arturo Vidal’s cracking start to the tournament as the Juve man already boasts three goals. Meanwhile, Bolivia look set to reach the quarter-final too whilst Mexico and Ecuador could yet sneak through as one of the best placed third teams.

In Group B, Sergio Aguero has scored in both Argentina matches to leave Albiceleste top and almost guaranteed to qualify as they take on rock-bottom Jamaica in their final game. Meanwhile, Uruguay and Paraguay do battle to decide who will finish runner-up. The third-placed team is also likely to progress.

The final group is still wide open heading into this second set of fixtures but we should have a much better idea once these games are over. And you can stream the matches live thanks to Bet365’s In-Play console.

Brazil V Colombia Preview

Thursday’s contest has a very different flavour than the one in Fortaleza last summer but both teams will be optimistic about enjoying a decent showing at this competition.

Dunga’s Brazil have responded well since suffering total embarrassment at the World Cup to Germany and the Netherlands. However, this still doesn’t feel like a great Brazilian side despite the obvious star quality of key man Neymar.

The captain has been unstoppable for Selecao, giving them a massive edge. However, if you can nullify his threat then you’ve got a great chance against Brazil. Then again, that’s a lot easier said than done.

Colombia were on a seven-match winning streak of their own before that opening Copa loss to Venezuela. However, Jose Pekerman’s do still boast a number of threats in James Rodriguez, Enner Valencia, Radamel Falcao and Carlos Bacca. If they play to their ability then there’s no reason they can’t get their tournament back on track.

Both teams will be eager for the win. Expect an exciting encounter at the Estadio Monumental.

Brazil V Colombia Betting Tips

These are two potentially very evenly matched sides and that shows in the pre-game odds. Brazil are 21/20 for the win with Bet365, which does make them favourites. However, Colombia’s odds of 29/10 suggests it might not be easy for Selecao. The draw can be backed at 5/2.

The one bet that stands out for us in this game is Neymar anytime scorer. The former prince of Brazil has been promoted to king and his performance against Peru shows that he is more than ready to take on that responsibility again in Chile.

Neymar now boats 44 in 64 international appearances, including nine post-World Cup 2014. At odds of over evens, it’s hard to turn this bet down.

Brazil are on an 11-game winning streak, making it very hard to envisage any situation in which they will fail to score. However, there are still vulnerabilities at the back and a strong opposition like Colombia should take advantage.

The underdogs must attack after their shock lose to Venezuela. We think the likes of Falcao, Rodriguez and Valencia can combine to get on the scoresheet but that might not be enough for any points.
