Both Teams To Score Tips Saturday 21st February – Dons And Hatters To Share Goals

The English football season is really hitting the business end and with that each game becomes increasingly important. Hopefully ,we can capitalise on that sense of urgency by landing this 9/2 treble on the BTTS coupon.

We’re backing these six clubs to all find the target at some stage during Saturday’s proceedings so fingers crossed for an entertaining afternoon of action.

Alternatively, you can always add an extra two selections to qualify for the BetVictor acca insurance.

Watford V Norwich City

Championship due Watford and Norwich have scored a combined total of 122 goals from 61 games this season and we’re backing the action to continue as they meet at Vicarage Road.

In addition to scoring a combined average of 2 goals per game, the sides have also shipped 73 goals between them this term. Meanwhile, a game boasting the likes of Troy Deeney, Odion Ighalo, Cameron Jerome and Gary Hooper will always be an exciting encounter.

Both sides currently occupy play-off places but neither can afford to rest on their laurels and must go for the win at Vicarage Road. It was Norwich who claimed a 3-0 win at Carrow Road in August, but the Hornets should carry a much fiercer sting on home soil and will also be expected to score.

Victory would be huge for either side in this game and we’re anticipating a fast-paced feast of football. We’d be surprised if we don’t see goals.

AFC Wimbledon V Luton Town

Our second selection comes from League Two as high-flying Luton look to get their automatic promotion bid back on track with victory against an unpredictable AFC Wimbledon.

The Hatters suffered a disappointing defeat to Mansfield Town on Tuesday but John Still’s men must refocus for this trip to Kingston Road, especially as they face a Dons side that beat them 1-0 at Kenilworth Road back in August.

Neil Ardley’s men have been brilliant at times this season, but are equally susceptible to a meltdown. That unpredictable nature is reflected perfectly by their record of 11 wins, eight draws and 11 losses. Likewise, the fact their goal difference stands at 0 shows that you can never know what to expect, although those 40 goals at either end does show that there is often plenty of action for the Dons fans to enjoy.

Conversely, Luton’s away matches have only seen a total of 28 goals this season. However, the influence of Wimbledon should counteract that here.

Alfreton Town V Aldershot Town

Conference side Alfreton have endured a difficult campaign but will be hoping to climb out of the relegation zone with a home win against struggling Aldershot. However, the visitors will be in good spirits after claiming a first win in six last weekend.

Caretaker boss Chris Barker has been confirmed as a candidate for a permanent job and three points at the Impact Arena would go a long way to helping his chances. More importantly, though, it would establish a five-point lead over the bottom four and put them well on track to avoid the drop.

However, the Shots will have to be at their best against a home side that is in desperate need of points. Despite a lack of results, Alfreton have at least scored 25 goals from their 15 home games and should fancy their chances against an away side that has conceded 23 on the road. However, the hosts have also shipped 31 home goals so attack will be the best form of defence for Nicky Law’s men.

Aldershot won the reverse clash 2-0 and will be confident of another positive result here. However, Alfreton will pose a bigger threat on home soil so we’re backing both teams to score.
