Both Teams To Score Tips Sat 16th November – Pompey Goals Galore Looks A Cert

We don’t need the Premier League or Championship to come up with a nice Goals Galore bet for the weekend and after researching the fixtures this Saturday there is plenty on offer for us both teams to score coupon fans.

This Saturday’s treble pays an impressive £44.70 to a £10 stake at BetVictor, which is quite a surprise given that we have included a lower league Scottish fixture which are pretty short priced.

Here’s the 3 selections:

AFC Wimbledon v Portsmouth – 3.00pm

I have made this my strongest selection this weekend for both teams to score and have also included it in my Sky Bet Free Bet Club Acca.

AFC Wimbledon are pretty average but can normally be relied upon to score at home, but it’s Pompey that make this a stand out bet. The visitors have scored and conceded in ALL of their away league games this season so far, and looking at the opposition they’ve come up against it doesn;t seem to discriminate. They seem to score and concede no matter who they play.

Portsmouth have been knocked out of the FA Cup and Johnstone’s Paint trophy in the matter of 3 days between last Saturday and Tuesday, but had shown some good form before then.

AFC have failed to score in just 3 of their last 15 home games in all competitions so this looks a very strong selection for both teams to net.

Livingston v Dumbarton 3.00pm

Two teams struggling to find a bit of form are pitted against each other here. Both clubs have collected 14 points after 12 games played and have negative goal differences.

Looking at head to head history both teams have scored in 5 of their last 7 meetings since 2011, and a big positive is Dumbarton’s ability to score and concede on the road. They’ve failed to score and concede just once so far on their travels (83.3%), and also found the net against league leaders Hamilton.

Livingston have scored and conceded in their last 4 home games, giving plenty of evidence to plump for BTTS in this fixture.

Tranmere Rovers v Bristol City 3.00pm

After a dreadful period between September and the beginning of October in which they lost 6 of their 7 games, Tranmere have begun to get their act together; picking up 8 points in their last 4 league games as well as progressing past Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup last week. Things are looking up at Prenton Park and they are beginning to get amongst the goals.

Visitors Bristol City are another team that have found their aim in recent weeks, and after a period of 9 games without a win between mid September and late October they’ve now picked up 3 wins in their last 4 games, which includes a confidence building 3-0 win over Dagenham in the cup last week.

The visitors have scored and conceded in 6 of their 7 away games so far this term (85.7%) and there’s no reason to doubt that this won’t be another of them.
