Betting And Every Day Life – Never Complete Harmony!
Yesterday wasn’t the greatest betting day ever. Finnish side MyPA couldn’t break through a resolute part-time Welsh 2nd division team, which ruined both my banker treble, and my asian handicap bets.
That however wasn’t the biggest of my problems. I just had a general day from hell. One of them poxy days where everything that could possibly could go wrong, does.
It’s amazing how a small series of events can really mess things up. My plan was to get a few articles written up for the site, and then start looking into the semi final Wimbledon matches. That was soon nipped in the bud when I dropped the laptop and cracked the screen.
I’m laughing about it now because I’ve calmed down, but I had about two inches of screen left at the top of the laptop and I was trying to write an article and post some comments on Facebook!
I then had to deal with a couple of other problems which I could just do without at the time. The fact that I’m about to become a Dad to my first son in just over a month is also beginning to weigh on my mind… Not good when I’m trying to stay clear headed in order to pick out winners.
I eventually got to my main laptop at about 11pm last night, managed to write up my article on the Djokovic v Federer game, but had just had enough by the time I had finished it to carry on with the Andy Murray game.
For what it’s worth at this late stage, I think Murray will have another epic battle against Jo-Wilfred Tsonga, which could easily go 5 sets. With Murray as short as 4/11 to beat the Frenchman, I think there is plenty of value about Tsonga at 11/5. I may well lay Murray on Betfair, as I’m sure he will go longer than that in-play.
This post has been a bit of a mish mash of everything, but sometimes things aren’t all plain sailing, and yesterday was a prime example of me having a bit of a hissy fit!
