German Bundesliga Weekend Betting Tips

BundesligaLast weeks fixtures pulled in a 12/5 winner with Monchengladbach winning 4-1 which brings a 4 winners in a row on main bets over the last few weeks. This week brings some tough fixtures with Schalke facing a tough trip to Hoffenheim being a key fixture.

Sunday 29th September – 2.30pm
Werder Bremen v Nurnburg

Bremen took advantage of a Hamburg side with virtually zero moral last week, winning 2-0 away from home in the Nordderby. Bremen started the game extremely well and took an early lead and managed to hold off Nurnburg, but managed to wrap the game up when Nils Peterson scored his second of the game late on.

Nurnburg also had a decent result last week, drawing 1-1 with Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund. Star man Hiroshi Kiyotake has far from impressed so far this season, but will improve especially with his Japanese team mate Makoto Hasebe joining this season. Nurnburg are still yet to win away from home this season and also handed Eintracht Braunschweig their only point of the campaign in their last away game, a game they were completely outplayed by the newly promoted team.

I think this game is going to be very close, both teams aren’t in a great run of form but I have found a bet.

BET: Werder Bremen to win – 21/20

If you are wanting a little bit of a safer bet, take the Bremen 0/-0.5 Asian handicap at 1.75.

For more of a risky bet, and something that I will be having a small stake on, is Werder win and Under 2.5 goals at 7/2.

Other bets I would look at for the weekend would be:

Hoffenheim v Schalke – Over 2.5 goals
Eintracht Braunschweig v Stuttgart – Stuttgart win
Bayer Leverkusen v Hannover – Leverkusen -1 Asian Handicap
